Socrates Cowork
Our product is Socrates Cowork: a thoughtful coworker that knows the ontology of your business. You reach it the way you would reach a person — on WhatsApp, by text, or by calling it on the phone — and it answers questions about your operation in the terms your operation actually uses.
Most tools make you learn their model of your business. We are building toward the opposite: an agent that is given your business's own entities and rules, and answers in those terms. Today it works from a description of your data that you supply, and it writes and runs code in a sandbox to work an answer out rather than guessing at one that merely sounds right — and it tells you plainly when it doesn't have the record you asked about.
Answers from your data
Questions are answered against your actual records through your own API, in your own terms — not from what a model happens to remember.
Reaches you where you are
WhatsApp, SMS, and a phone number. No new app to install, no dashboard to learn, no seat to provision.
Works it out, then answers
It writes and runs code in a sandbox to compute a real answer, and tells you plainly when it doesn't have one.
Proves who you are first
Nothing about a record is disclosed until the person asking has verified they are entitled to see it.
Identity is the part we take most seriously
Socrates will not tell you anything about a record until it has established that you are the person entitled to see it. It sends a one-time passcode to the mobile number already on file for your account, and on a phone call you key that code in on the keypad rather than saying it aloud, so it never lands in a recording.
Your phone number is never treated as proof of who you are, on any channel. A caller ID is trivially spoofed, so it opens no door here. Socrates will never ask you for a password, and it will never ask you to read a passcode out loud.
It runs on AWS Bedrock AgentCore, with Amazon Cognito for identity and Twilio for voice and messaging.
Where we are today
Socrates Cowork is pre-alpha software under active development. What we are inviting people into today is a demo sandbox: you ask Socrates questions about a fictional company's data and see how it reasons. It is not connected to anyone's real business yet, and there is nothing to buy. It is free, it changes week to week, and features may break or be withdrawn.
The sandbox contains synthetic demo data only — a fictional company, invented for development. It describes no real person, and we do not ask you to put real business data into it.
Every request is reviewed before anyone is enrolled. Nothing is sent to your phone unless and until we enrol you.
Text messaging
Socrates reaches you by text, so we run a text-message program. It is strictly transactional: a one-time passcode when you ask to sign in, and a reply when you write to Socrates. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages — not to anyone, ever. We will not text you about the product, about pricing, or to check in.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
The complete program disclosure — who receives messages, how consent is given, frequency, cost, and how to stop — sits next to the form on the signup page, so you can read it at the moment you decide. The full terms are in the Terms & Conditions, and what is collected and why is in the Privacy Policy.
