These terms govern your use of Logistikon and of Socrates Cowork, its automated AI assistant, including its WhatsApp, telephone, and SMS channels. By using it you agree to them. The Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference.

1. What this is

Logistikon builds AI agents that plug into the ontology of a business. Its product, Socrates Cowork, is an AI assistant that answers questions about the records in your business and writes and runs code in a sandbox to do so. It has read-only access to that data and cannot change your records.

Socrates Cowork is pre-alpha software under active development. What is offered today is a demo sandbox, by invitation: you ask Socrates questions about a fictional company's synthetic demo data in order to evaluate how it works. It is not connected to your live business systems. The sandbox is provided free of charge, no fee is charged, and no payment details are collected. Features may change, break, or be withdrawn — see section 8. If and when the service becomes paid, that will be agreed with you in advance and these terms will be updated; nothing here obliges you to buy anything.

Socrates is an automated system, not a person, and it discloses that at the start of every call. It can be wrong. Do not rely on it for legal, medical, financial, or employment decisions.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 and have been invited into the pre-alpha. You are responsible for activity under your account. Signing in uses a one-time passcode sent to the mobile number on file — there is no password, and Socrates will never ask you for one. Tell us immediately if you lose control of that number or suspect unauthorized access.

3. SMS messaging program

Program name: Socrates Assistant Messages
Program description: A transactional, conversational messaging program. Socrates sends one-time passcodes for identity verification, and replies to questions you send it. No marketing or promotional messages are sent.
How to opt in: On the public signup page at logistikon.ai/signup.html: you enter your own mobile number and tick a consent box that is never ticked in advance. The pre-alpha is invite-only, so submitting the form requests enrolment rather than completing it — every request is reviewed, and no message is sent to your number unless and until it is enrolled. Consent is never solicited by text message. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of employment or of any purchase, and nothing is withheld from you if you decline.
Message frequency: Varies, and you set it. You receive a message when you ask for something and when you request a sign-in passcode. Because the program is conversational and you initiate every exchange, there is no fixed recurring frequency.
Cost: Message and data rates may apply. We charge nothing for messages; your mobile carrier’s standard rates apply.
How to opt out: Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will get one confirmation and then nothing further. To resume, reply START. Note that opting out of SMS may prevent you from signing in, because the passcode is delivered by text; if that happens, email the address below.
How to get help: Reply HELP to any message, or email socrates@logistikon.ai.
Supported carriers: Major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on effective transmission by your carrier and is outside our control.
Privacy: See the Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

4. Telephone calls

Calls with Socrates are not recorded. Recording is switched off. You are told at the start of every call that you are speaking with an AI assistant. If recording is ever enabled, this page will say so and the call will disclose it before anything is captured.

Before Socrates discusses any information about you, it verifies your identity by sending a one-time passcode to the mobile number on file, which you key in on your phone’s keypad rather than speaking aloud. If verification does not succeed — including where there is no SMS-capable number on file for you — Socrates ends the call and refers you to a human rather than disclosing anything. On a call it does not tell you why verification failed, deliberately: saying so would let a stranger use the call to discover whether a given number has an account. Passcodes are never written to our logs or transcripts at all.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to access data you are not authorized to see, attempt to bypass identity verification or data isolation, probe or disrupt its infrastructure, reverse-engineer it, or send unlawful, harassing, or abusive content. Do not attempt to manipulate Socrates into disclosing another person’s information.

6. Your data

The demo sandbox holds only synthetic demo data belonging to a fictional company, created for development; it describes no real person. Do not put real business records or personal data into the sandbox — it is not intended for them. Anything you do contribute remains yours, is used only to answer your own questions, and will be deleted on request.

7. Intellectual property

Logistikon’s software and content belong to Logistikon and its licensors. You get a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose for as long as your pre-alpha access lasts.

8. Availability and changes

Socrates Cowork is pre-alpha software under active development. Features may change, break, or be withdrawn at any time, and availability is not guaranteed. These terms may be updated by posting a revised version at this URL and updating the date above; continued use after that is acceptance.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. There is no warranty that Socrates’ answers are accurate, complete, or current.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Logistikon is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising out of your use of the service. Because the pre-alpha is provided free of charge, total aggregate liability is limited to one hundred United States dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so some may not apply to you.

11. Termination

Access may be withdrawn at any time, for any reason, including a breach of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time, and can have your account and records deleted by emailing the address below.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Utah have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and you and Logistikon each consent to venue there.
